You can mess around with simple syrups by adding herbs and spices with a lot of success! Our Cardi-C syrup is a blend of the 1:1 simple syrup with coriander and cardamom to bring a warmth to drinks.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of water
2 barspoons of whole coriander seeds
15 cardamom pods
Saucepan
Spoon
Strainer
Put all ingredients in a sauce pan and bring to a boil. Let boil for 1-2 minutes, then reduce to a simmer for 10 minutes. Pour mixture through a strainer and discard the solids. This recipe will be enough for about 10-12 cocktails. If you plan to drink more, double it! Or more! Syrups will always taste better if they’re fresher, but will keep for up to 2 weeks in the fridge.
