olive oil washed gin


YOU WILL NEED:

8 oz gin

1.5 oz olive oil

Strainer

Coffee filter

Freezer safe container


Combine gin and olive oil in a freezer safe container with a lid.

For 30 minutes, shake the container to mix the two together every few minutes (you do not have to shake it for the ENTIRE 30 minutes, just keep it nearby and give it a shake every 2-3 minutes).


Let it sit and ignore it for 30 minutes.


Put the container in the freezer for about 4 hours. Some of your fats will fully freeze, some of them may not solidify completely, but that’s okay.


After 4 hours, pour the mixture through a strainer with a coffee filter to remove the fat. Left behind is a tasty booze with a new, clear flavor without any solids!
